Matcha ice cream: our delicious matcha tea ice cream recipe

Sabine has prepared a delicious ice cream recipe for us using ultra-premium organic matcha tea and chocolate. An invitation to travel to Japan, where matcha is very popular in pastries and cooking, thanks in particular to its beautiful green colour. Matcha green tea adds a touch of bitterness to this recipe, which then gains in intensity.
The recipe is also vegan and lactose-free.
Preparation of matcha ice cream - ultra-premium organic premium matcha tea and chocolate
For this matcha ice cream recipe, there is no need to heat the mixture over low heat: this dessert simply requires combining all the ingredients, which have been cooled beforehand, in an ice cream maker. Simple, easy, and delicious!
Ingredients in matcha ice cream:
- 650 ml of organic coconut cream
- 3 teaspoons of ultra-premium organic premium matcha tea
- 50 g organic cashew butter
- 1 tablespoon organic maple syrup
- 70% organic dark chocolate, coarsely crushed

In a blender, mix the coconut cream, cashew butter, maple syrup, and ultra-premium organic matcha tea.
Chill the mixture for at least 2 hours.
Pour the well-chilled mixture into the ice cream maker bowl and churn for 20-25 minutes until creamy. Add the chocolate while the ice cream is churning.
Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours, in an airtight container, so that the ice cream sets properly.
Preferably remove from storage a few minutes before serving.
