For 10 years, Kumiko Matcha has been the specialist organic grand cru matcha teas, i.e. high quality teas with high production standards and a central place given to our partner farmers. It hasn't escaped my notice that matcha, and especially matcha latte, has become very popular, mainly thanks to coffee shops and other cafes. What is a matcha barista?

These barista matchas are specially designed for latte. For matcha to be perfect in a latte, it must have an intense flavor and balanced so that you can taste the flavours of green tea even with 1 gram of powder, without the milk overpowering it.

As in the world of coffee, where the difference between instant coffee and Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is striking, not all coffees are created equal. Our matcha teas are comparable to specialty coffees, sourced from the best 100% certified organic cooperatives in Japan.
