- A matcha and coconut water iced tea: a hydrating drink full of antioxidants and electrolytes.
- Ready in 5 minutes, can be made ahead, perfect for hot days.
- The tartness of lime, the sweetness of coconut water, and matcha form a refreshing trio.

Here's a new refreshing recipe for the end of summer (or rather the start of an Indian summer!) that I've whipped up for you with care: A matcha and coconut water iced tea. It's simply delicious and I make at least 1 litre at a time because it's so easy. It's a very hydrating drink, full of antioxidants, and with coconut water that contains no added sugars, no concentrate, and is naturally packed with calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and potassium.
This iced tea recipe takes about 5 minutes to make, can be prepared in advance, and is packed with electrolytes to keep you well hydrated on hot days. The combination of the tartness of lemon, the natural sweetness of coconut water, and the green tea flavor of matcha will give you a delicious, refreshing and healthy iced tea to enjoy without moderation :)

- 3 oranges - two and a half for the juice and one half for garnish
- 3 limes - 2 for the juice and 1 for garnish
- 6g of matcha green tea
- 1 bottle of 1 litre coconut water (note: it's coconut water, not coconut milk)
- ice cubes
Method Personally, I peeled and blended my oranges because I wanted to eat the pulp (for the vitamins!), but what I recommend for a truly delicious matcha iced tea is to simply juice them.
=> Start by pouring the juice of 2 and a half oranges into your carafe.
Next, prepare your matcha with hot water as if you were going to drink it, but using very little water. => Prepare a matcha tea with the 6g of matcha (that's six bamboo scoops) and add it to the mixture in your carafe.
Then, in a cup, squeeze 2 limes and add the juice to the carafe, being careful not to include any seeds.
Don't forget to slice the remaining orange half and the leftover lime: this is for garnish if you want to serve beautiful drinks right away, or you can add it all to the carafe to let it steep and add extra flavor. At this stage, all that's left to do is fill the carafe to the brim with coconut water and your delicious matcha iced tea is ready!
A lovely serving suggestion: add ice cubes and a few mint leaves to a glass...
...then serve and enjoy :)
Then keep your carafe in the fridge and consume within 2-3 days max.
Enjoy!
