Hummus is a firm favorite for casual get-togethers and meals with family and friends. It's a simple, healthy, and indulgent dish, now reinvented in every flavor: beetroot, roasted red pepper, or even spinach. The homemade hummus recipe we're sharing with you today with Sabine is a version made with matcha tea. The color is sublime, and the matcha adds a delicious extra umami note that pairs especially well with the tahini.

Ingredients for a large bowl of matcha tea hummus:
- 400 g of organic canned chickpeas, drained
- 1+1/2 tablespoons of organic tahini (sesame paste)
- 1 tablespoon of organic lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of organic premium matcha
- 1 clove of organic garlic
- 1 teaspoon of organic cumin
- Salt
- 1/2 organic avocado, cut into cubes or thin slices
- Organic sesame seeds
- Organic extra-virgin olive oil

In a blender (or with a hand blender), blend together the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, organic premium matcha, garlic, cumin, and salt.
Transfer the hummus to a large bowl.
Top the hummus with avocado and sesame seeds, and finish with a drizzle of olive oil.
Serve with pita bread or any other bread of your choice.
Enjoy!
