Delicious little cookies made with organic matcha and white chocolate chips, ready in just a few minutes, ideal for satisfying those urgent matcha cravings.
They melt in the middle, are very fragrant, and contain just the right amount of white chocolate. The white chocolate softens the overall flavor without overpowering the green tea.
For this matcha green tea cookie recipe, we will use half organic culinary matcha and half organic premium matcha to achieve a balanced combination of taste, colour, and bitterness.

Recipe for matcha cookies with white chocolate chips

Ingredients for 8 matcha tea and white chocolate cookies

  • 75g cold organic butter
  • 80g organic white sugar
  • 50g organic whole sugar or brown sugar
  • 8g of organic culinary matcha
    • 8g of organic premium matcha
    • 2g organic salt
    • 1 organic egg
    • 150g organic T55 flour
    • 1g organic baking powder
    • Approximately 100g of organic white chocolate

    Preparation of matcha and white chocolate cookies

    Cream the cold butter with the sugars until smooth.

    Dilute the matcha teas in a small quantity of water to obtain a thick paste and incorporate them into the previous mixture. Add the egg and salt, and mix again.

    Finish by incorporating the flour and baking powder, mixing briefly so as not to overwork the dough.

    If it is too soft to handle with your hands, place it in the freezer for about 20 minutes.

    When the cookie dough is cold enough, form small balls of dough weighing about 50g and then flatten them with the palm of your hand. Place them well spaced apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place the white chocolate chips on top of the cookies.

    Bake at 190°C for 8 to 10 minutes, preferably placing the baking sheet in the lower part of the oven.

    Immediately remove the cookies from the baking sheet and let them cool.

    Best enjoyed on the same day, but the cookies can be placed in an airtight container and kept for several days. You can even leave them in the fridge and enjoy them cold—they're delicious!
